Class #306: June 10-14, 9am-12pm
Location: Gateway Mall
Would you like to own a retail store one day? Are you curious how decisions about location, product and promotion are made? Learn the ins and outs of creating and managing a store in the retail mall environment. From location to branding to inventory, this week-long class will introduce you to behind-the-scenes retail management concepts with daily activities to put your learning to work. On Friday, participants will pitch their store concept to a group of “investors” and attempt to get the most “Bright Lights Bucks” invested in their store. This class will be held at Gateway Mall each day, with partnered appearances from local entrepreneurs and merchandising professionals. Specific drop-off and pick-up instructions and classroom information will be shared with registered families prior to class beginning.
