Eye on the Sky: Weather Watchers

Grades Completed: 2-3

Class #522: June 24-28, 9am-12pm

Location: Holmes Elementary

Are you curious about natural disasters? Do you keep an “eye on the sky” for weather changes? Join our meteorology team and make a rain gauge and wind sock for your own weather station. Measure daily weather changes and discuss how meteorologists observe and forecast the weather. Learn about the water cycle, make clouds in a jar and a tornado in a bottle. The weather is always changing so join us as we learn more about it!

Taught by Michelle Jensen, Zeman Elementary School Teacher, and Jessica Dubas, Belmont Elementary School Teacher
