Build Like an Engineer
Grades Completed: 1-2
Camp #600: June 22-26, 9am-4pm
Location: Holmes Elementary
Do you like challenges? Can you change a flat shape into a three-dimensional structure? How about creating a building that turns? In this camp you will think like an engineer to design and build structures using a variety of materials such as play dough, sticks, marshmallows, recycled objects and straws. We will even use life-sized interlocking tubes and spheres to design giant structures! Collaborate with a partner using the engineering process to test and then improve your ideas as you build. There will be different challenges each day, and the only limit is your imagination. Are you up for the engineering challenge?
