Coronavirus Update from Bright Lights

At Bright Lights, we know parents and families may have concerns about the Coronavirus and how it could impact our summer camps. We are monitoring the ongoing situation. The safety of every staff member and student is our top priority and we are taking this issue seriously.

At this time, we are not changing any of our summer plans. Registration will officially begin March 21 at 8:00 am and families should visit for details. We encourage families to register and to use this time to review the 100+ camps available for grades K-8. If the situation changes, we will make decisions with the safety of our students and staff as our primary focus and communicate them quickly to everyone.

We will honor our existing refund policies. This means that if Bright Lights cancels a camp, registrants will receive a full refund. If a registrant chooses to withdraw from a camp, fees will apply ($15 per camp will be charged if a student withdraws through April 1; $50 per camp will be charged if a student withdraws between April 2 through May 15). We will use CDC-recommended procedures for cleaning and sanitizing when we get to camp time. We will look to the Lincoln/Lancaster County Health Department, the CDC and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services for further guidance and will keep you informed.

In an abundance of caution, we have closed our office and our staff will be working remotely for the near future. Please visit our website, read our FAQs, and email with questions, comments, or concerns.

Bright Lights has been proud to be a part of the Lincoln community for more than 30 years. We have always put safety first when it comes to our students and staff and will continue to make this our guiding force.
