Board of Directors Officers and New Members

Bright Lights, Inc. is proud to announce new officers on the Board of Directors for the 2005-2006 term. Don Rangel, Principal at Hill Elementary, is the new President. Diane Krajicek, Account Planner at Bailey Lauerman, will serve as Vice-President. Richard Evnen, CEO Lincoln Poultry, will continue as Treasurer and Mickie Wilkinson, Educator at St. Peter's School remains as Secretary. Thank you to past president Nina Beck for her leadership and dedication to children and their families.
At the Bright Lights board meeting in November, six new members were welcomed to the Board of Directors. Joining the team are Monica Bossard, Educator; Kathryn Fleming, Principal Saratoga Elementary; Monica Henkenius, media Supervisor Bailey Lauerman; Diego Moreno, Student Science Focus School; Linda Shreve, UNL Practicum Student Supervisor; and Becky Wild, LPS Director of Student Services & District Equity Administrator.
Bright Lights is celebrating 20 years of summer learning adventures for elementary and middle school students. The 2006 fun will take place at Morley Elementary, 6800 Monterey Drive. Registration begins April 1st. Program dates are June 12-16, June 26-30 and July 10-14. Middle school opportunities include career camps and international experiences with over 100 visiting Japanese students at Lux Middle School the last week of June.
