Career Day Camps
At Bright Lights, middle school students can "try on" a career in three different weeklong summer career camps held Monday - Friday, 9 am –4 pm. These day camps provide students with the opportunity to explore a profession and actively pursue their interest in specialized fields. By allowing students time to tinker, wonder and experiment, these camps provide opportunities typically unavailable during the school year.
Most camps are conducted "on-site" at various community locations, where students learn from experts in the field. Professionals help develop the camps and assist in the presentations. Students receive an overview of a profession and enjoy confidence-building participation.
